Ankara University Aydın Doğan Geriatrics Clinic
*Aydın Doğan Geriactrics Clinic was founded in 1993 at Ankara University Medical School, Department of Internal Medicine.
*Since 1993 it has provided out-patient services at Ibn-i Sina Hospital and the Cebeci Campus.
* In 2002 space allocated at the Cebeci Campus of the University was built into a Geriactrics Clinic with Foundation Chairman Aydın Doğan’s personal contributions.
*The Geriactrics Clinic opened its doors on February 17, 2003.
*Aydın Doğan was the guest of honor of the formal inaguration on May 16, 2003.
The Clinic has served numerous patients since its opening. Patients are given a thorough geriatric examination at their first visit to the Clinic. Majority of the data saved in the data base, will later be used for scientific research.
Intensive Care Incubator
Durağan State Hospital’s (Durağan, Sinop) urgent need for an intensive care incubator was met by the Aydın Doğan Foundation and donated to the hospital.
